I am pleased to announce that I am now offering Tech Editing for Crochet and will be adding more services over the next year that are geared to help you publish excellent crochet patterns!
Crochet Tech Editing
Tech Editing is the process of going through a pattern top to bottom, section by section, making sure typos are identified and double checking numbers, counts and terms. It is one of the best ways to ensure your pattern has every component needed to be recreated by those who buy it.
My goal is to make suggestions and point out corrections in a way that does not encroach upon your vision and voice as a designer. To this end, I like to work closely with you to understand what you need and what you are hoping for throughout the process.
I currently edit accessories such as hats, shawls, and scarves, household items such as dish cloths, table runners and baskets, squares for blankets and blanket patterns. I am open to editing most odds and ends, however, at this time, I am unable to offer tech editing for garments.
As a new kid on the Tech Editing block, I am offering your first tech edit in exchange for feedback and testimonial!
